Akilé to speak at “Can a pro-black candidate win a St Pete election?”

June 16, 2019 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm UTC+0

| Free

Hosted by the St Pete branch of the International People’s Democratic Uhuru Movement (InPDUM)

Can a pro-black candidate win a St Pete election?

We know the St Pete election system is rigged, with both a primary and a general election for city council so the majority white city can out vote a black district on who they want to represent them. There is a peoples movement for Eritha Akilé Cainion for District 7 city council and Anne Hirsch for District 5 city council which is challenging this set-up and fighting for a platform of “Make the Southside Black Again” and “Unity Through Reparations!”

Come out to this community meeting and bring forward the issues you care about and the solutions you want.
